Hello.
My nickname shaman.sir (or Ulric Wilfred). Let me, please, use it here as my identity.
At work, I am J2EE/Web developer. I like to develop UI controls, visual representation of the server data, transferring data from server to client and everything connected with that. Because of this, I am also experienced in JavaScript (with JQuery usage or without) and AJAX technologies (XML/JSON included). I also pay respect to Web Standards. I like Java for its considered strictness and serious, technological approach. Web standards are just really helping people, both users and developers. They're not rules — but it's really good if you follow the most of them. JavaScript in its current condition is the Web language with its own culture, now it is an easy language to do dynamic and fun things on the pages. Of course, my skills is not limited with described things, but these are the perfect ones :).
Here's my LinkedIn public profile. I've participated in many projects, they're described there, but to mention the huge ones, these are: MyPicturetown and UnlockAustin. I have a five-year experience as developer.
At home, I like everything connected to CG. I like to use just Open Source software, so my OS is preferably Linux/Ubuntu*. I'm training my skills in my favorite programming language Python, and in Web development at the same time. Here's the game project in Launchpad I am working on by myself now — for this moment there is almost nothing to watch at, just source code. It is written in Python. By the way, my profile at Launchpad. Also, I have several PHP/JavaScript projects, they're hosted in my profile at googlecode.
I have my own blog in two versions (XTML one and Wiki one): at Wordpress and at Wikidot. I am writing articles not so often (really not often, to be truth) due to work, learning and my own projects. I have ideas what to write about, but now I have just a little of time, also because I prefer to spend it with my wife.

- I have a licensed copy of Windows XP on my notebook, so for the moment I use Ubuntu at the free VMWare Server.
